The NDES1 (NOVA Device Electronic module Servo 1 axis) is a servo device for the piezo positioniers without build in electronics as MS30 stage with PS30 linear measuring system.

  • The voltage for the piezos can be changed in gradations
  • The device can move a piezoelectric initial drive with one or two independent phases
  • The positioning measurement system has a resolution of 50nm
  • Computational step size is smaller than 10nm
  • The device has a position control which can change both the step size and the step frequency
  • The step size and step frequency (velocity) is adjustable
  • The device has a hard limit detection or collision warning system with automatic shut off
  • The thresholds for the hard limits are adjustable

  • The NDES1 has an input for encoder with 50 nm resolution
  • The direction of the measuring system can be changed
  • The NDES1 can operate the positioner in the open loop or closed loop mode
